This painting was part of the exhibition, From The Caribbean To Coventry - The Rise of 2-Tone at the Barbican in London. It will be ready for delivery after the exhibition finishes on 1st July.

Giant hand painted 3-dimensional replica of the cover to the Special A.K.A. extended play single, Too Much Too Young. Painted in homage to the original 2 Tone record sleeve. This piece was displayed at the From The Caribbean To Coventry; The Rise of 2-Tone exhibition at the Barbican.

Painted in July 2023.

Hand painted in acrylic on canvas and wrapped around board to create a 3-dimensional replica of the 7” sleeve.

It is float mounted and framed in a high quality bespoke made box frame with anti-reflection UV protected glass, and delivered ready for hanging.

Mark only paints a record once, so this painting is unique and will not be painted again.

The work is signed and stamped with the artist’s stamp, and provided with a certificate of authenticity as the original piece of art.
