Pauline Boty portrait

Portrait tribute to artist and actress Pauline Boty who, along with other artists of her group, Peter Blake, David Hockney etc, revolutionised the 60's Pop Art movement.

Sadly, she died at just 28 years old and her work was stored and forgotten until recently. A new documentary film, the first about her life, is due for release this summer 2024.

Painted in green monochrome with contrasting red lips in homage to the style of Vladimir Tretchikoff.

Acrylic on canvas wrapped around board framed in a bespoke frame.
