The painting captures the likeness of an older Gil Scott-Heron in homage to the kitsch style of Vladimir Tretchikoff. The painting has a gold painted background that glows and shines when light catches it is reminiscent of a Byzantine icon painting.

Painted on board and comes framed in a simple black frame. The painting is delivered as part of the cost and looks great simply propped on a mantelpiece or shelf, or hung on the wall.
