Cha Cha Cha

A guant hand painted 3-dimensional replica of the album cover of Cha Cha Cha by Pedro Garcia and his Del Prado Orchestra.

The painting depicts the fishnet stockinged legs of an unknown model with abstract red and green flashes emblazoned across the image. During the 1950s it was popular for record labels to appeal to a mainly male market by featuring an attractive woman on the album cover. The painting is a unique artwork depicting a design of a bygone midcentury era.

Original Painting

The painting has been given a level of distress to reflect the wear and tear the album would have picked up throughout its lifetime.

Hand painted in acrylic on canvas and wrapped around board to create a 3-dimensional replica of the album cover, complete with a just visible paper inner sleeve.

It is float mounted and framed in a high quality bespoke made box frame with anti-reflection UV protected glass, and delivered ready for hanging.

Mark only paints an album once, so this painting is unique and will not be painted again.

The work is signed and stamped with the artist’s stamp, and provided with a certificate of authenticity as the original piece of art.
