This painting is part of the ‘Blondes, Brunettes & Redheads’ collection.

In the 50s and 60s it was common to feature an attractive scantily dressed woman, in this case Bonnie Logan, often in an exotic setting to sell, what was frequently, a mediocre easy listening album.

In this painting, Mark is celebrating the unique and slightly risqué era of when album covers offered more on the outside than the recording on the vinyl inside.

Hand painted in acrylic on canvas and wrapped around board to create a 3 dimensional replica of the album cover, complete with a just visible paper inner sleeve.

Mark only paints an album once, so this painting is unique and will not be painted again. However, if you would like something in a similar style, Mark is willing to suggest a number of alternative covers that he would be happy to paint.

The work is signed and stamped with the artist’s stamp, and provided with a certificate of authenticity as the original piece of art.

It is float mounted and framed in a high quality bespoke made box frame, and delivered ready for hanging.
