Contemporary nocturnal urban landscape of the Revue Bar and Peep Show in Tisbury Court, Soho, London, W1.

The painting depicts the rich neon lights reflecting off the wet flagstones in a sleazy Soho back street.

Soho was once littered with XXX cinemas, illuminated open doorways with hand written signs offering services, and dodgy ‘clip-joint’ bars with their hidden hostess charge and non- alcohol Champagne. Now, most of these premises have gone and the area becoming gentrified, losing independent shops and businesses. The painting is a reminder of Soho’s once vibrant and edgier past.

Oil on stretched canvas - 33” × 23”

Signed, and stamped on the rear of the canvas with the artist’s stamp and provided with a certificate of authenticity as the original piece of art.
